This is the RTM release for MockingBird v2.

Primary Features

Addition of a ServiceConfigurator module to pick a WSDL and automatically generate a mock.
Enhanced tracing so you can use DebugView to watch whats happening with the applications
Simulator Host now moved into its own installer (and corresponding location) so no redundant config files
Centralized configuration (both the web.app and the console host can point to central configuration).
Rewritten Service Studio that makes it a primary management tool for MockingBird and the UI enhanced using Krypton Windows Forms Toolkit.

Please test this out and send us feedback and bug reports.
If you are using this on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008/R2, review the troubleshooting guide for updating web.config (as IIS 7.x changes the way HttpHandlers are registered and invoked). If the notes need additions /corrections, please let us know so we can update the release immediately.

The source package has now been removed as there have been patches since the beta release and it is better to get them directly from the source code tab. Documentation is available with the install package. The install package has been synced with the latest changesets.

Beta-2 is a small update to the Beta-1 code.

The changes/ fixes are as follows
(1) The system can handle remote WSDL's now (using DiscoveryClientProtocol). [But this will use the Default network credentials to get the WSDL. There are no facilities as yet for providing this information as settings for the tool).
(2) Fixed the WSDL Browser which crashed when loading WSDLs into the tree view where there were one way operations in the WSDL.
(3) Xml Instance Generator now allows an overloaded constructor where a generatorSettings instance can be passed in to control the output.
(4) Documentation has now been split into a User Guide and Technical Documentation and thoroughly revised.

As always, all feedback is welcome.

The Simulator app is missing the functionality to log the requests and responses. This was available in early releases but got missed out. This will be made available in a changeset or the RTM.

Service Studio WSDL Browser

(1) The ServiceStudio WSDL Browser cannot handle local wsdl paths which have spaces in the folder names. Unhandled exceptions are currently thrown.
(2) If you give it an invalid URI such as http://<someservice>.asmx (without the ?wsdl at the end) then an unhandled exception is thrown.
(3) If you keep clicking "GetWSDL" for the same URI, it adds the service to the tree view and does not clear before adding so redundant entries are shown
(4) Xml instance generation has some issues for some WSDLs where it throws "Root element missing" errors.

These issues will be fixed by the RTM release.
